.. _manual: ====== Manual ====== EMTO is divided into 5 subprograms called `BMDL`_, `KSTR`_, `SHAPE`_, `KGRN`_, and `KFCD`_. In a typical calculation the programs are also executed in this order. BMDL ==== BMDL calculates the *Madelung potentials*, which only depend on the crystal structure of the system.
